@Lukedfrt2 like I'm clearly going to take the view of someone who's profile pic is a picture of Alonso himself! For a rookie in his first year - Hamilton did quite well at getting the upperhgand and beating Alonso in 2007. And if you say it was favouritism - don't give me that shit. If anything McLaren tried favourring Alonso what with McLaren telling Hamilton not to challenge Alonso in Monaco and telling him to pull over in Hungary qualifying. But Alonso was severely paranoid. |

Hamilton is not more gifted ;]
And how can you say that Alonso doesnt develop the car? you chat shit,
He didnt improve the Renault last year because they stopped developing there car half way through the year, as did Ferrari. And in 2008 he turned that car around, he won in Singapore and Fuji. And the Mclaren was NOT 2.5 seconds slower, it was roughly 0.8 seconds. Face it for an all round driver Alonso is far superior |

No doubt Alonso stands on a higher step than Hamilton at the moment and is fantastically consistent but Hamilton is the more naturally gifted driver and the stuff about Alonso being able to develop the car is quite frankly balls when you consider that he didn't improve the Renault once last year, and didn't do much better the year previously. However Hamilton's immense form at the end of 2009 in a car that was 2.5 seconds off the pace at the start of last season shows his development skills. |

Only people who are no0bs think that Hamilton is better than Alonso.
You just think about who has a more agressive style.
If you thought about who gives more for there team, helps develope the car, and is reliable at every race then its Alonso ;] |

No offence but you forgot to put Lewis Hamilton upstaging Alonso in 2007 in an equal car. Cheers. |

@ahcariel
kimi was the fastest driver in f1 of current times. Its a well known fact. Its a shame his time at ferrari, he couldnt channel those 11+ fastest laps, into being consistent pace throughout the race.
I hate mclaren for their treatment of DC, Kimi, JPM and Alonso, but kimi was much better suited to mclaren. If he was still at mclaren, kimi would be a formidable force today.
But mclaren, wouldnt have got him a WDC like ferrari did. |

Wow, i hadn't read that yet. Well, it's kind of sad if he can't even be competitive, it has been awhile since he's raced F1 so it's honestly not very surprising but maybe later in the season he'll start to show improvements along with the team. |

MS today - "Michael Schumacher has confessed that Mercedes Grand Prix is not in the position we want to be."
"Schumi has yet to threaten the top of the timesheets at all in 2010, and that on Sunday Mercedes lagged behind not only anticipated title rivals McLaren, Red Bull Racing and Ferrari, but also behind comparative minnows Force India."

I have no idea where you heard that.
Here's a coupe of quotes directly from Schumacher;
"The guys have done a superb job. We made a few control checks and the car ran reliably. We did about 80 laps, if I am correct, and for the first day that is a superb job."
"Exactly today I feel like a little young boy that has his toy in his hands and just enjoys himself."
Doesn't sound like moaning to me. |

It could/should be more of an open field than we've seen in the recent past - I can't wait. Merc are a good team w/ virtually all the signs of a championship winning season - but didn't I just hear MS moan about the last test? |

Flip, the fastest driver was Kimi although he didn't win the WDC.
As for cheating we'd better not talk about the sad story in Australia, ok? |
